NOW BUSINESS NEWS CHANNEL's EDITORS and DESIGNERS TRAINED Now • 財 經 台 工 作 人 員 的 培 訓 計 畫

When we approached to train editors and designers for a new News Channel for PCCW, we were excited just to be involved. This is one of the first News Channel that are using Final Cut Pro 5 and Motion 2 to edit dailies for their 24-hour financial new channel. Unlike other movie channels, this fast paced and highly stressed news environment will put even the toughest editors, producers and designers through daily challenge.


PCCW's NOW BROADBAND TV's BUSINESS NEWS CHANNEL was launched in March 2006. NOW Business News Channel- this all-new 24-hour financial new channel provides thorough and insightful analyses, enabling you to keep up to speed on the markets.


Like our previous training with STAR and DISNEY, we also customized their course. But unlike them, their needs include smoothing out their workflows, from the time they have their raw footage to the time it goes on air. This included using Soundtrack Pro to clean up the audio background noise and the ability to combine Motion 2 and After Effects to create their channel graphics.


Sze taught final Cut Pro 5. And Motion 2 by Samantha. They were trained before the launch at our office, with tools that could assist them in their daily task. We wish them best of luck!

電訊盈科Now寬頻電視財經台於2006年3月啟播。是個嶄新全日24小時財經資訊頻道，提供專業觀點及多角度分析，助你掌握市場走勢。


為 客戶度身定造課程綱要是 Fatbars 的一貫作風。而Now 財經台跟 STAR 〈衛視〉及 DISNEY〈華特迪士尼〉課程不同之處就是他們的製作流程。Now 財經台需要處理大量現場拍攝片段， 因此課程要着重於Soundtrack Pro 聲音編輯以削減環境噪音。 再結合Motion 2 和 After Effects 製作所需的動畫。


整個課程在 Fatbars 的訓練中心進行。 Final Cut Pro 5 部份 由Mr. Sze 擔任, 而 Motion 2 課程則由另一位導師 Samantha 負責。務求把所需的軟件課程在啟播前完成。在此，Fatbars 祝他們前程萬里！
