When Walt Disney Television International (Asia Pacific)
in Hong Kong approached us for Final Cut Pro and Motion training, we
were delighted. Like most people in Hong Kong, we were very excited
about the opening of Hong Kong Disneyland this September. But
we were also well aware of the producers' hectic schedule. Training
took place at our office, over 4 weeks, spanning over a period of 2
months.
Like our
previous training with Star, we also customized their course. But
unlike Star, Motion was included in their training. Particles of fairy
dusts easily created in Motion will surely come handy. The class was
around 4 to 5 person per group. Sze taught final Cut Pro HD. And Motion
by Samantha. Although their situation was very similar to Star, there
was a difference. At the time of this training, as far as we know, the
system is still in process.

found that some of our other clients, like them, are more than willing
to go ahead with training before committing to any purchase. Here in
Fatbars, they not only learn how to use the software, but were able to
try out a working setup with Final Cut Pro and Motion, using the
Blackmagic Decklink card, currently inside our G5, controlling our
digital betacam deck, at our post production.
So when they set their
own systems, they will know what system configuration and what software
will it take to make it work for them. After all the training are over and done, the production crew are back in their hectic schedule. We wish them the best of luck!
